Arboretum Opeka is the most important and richest arboretum in Croatia and is part of the protected cultural heritage. The collected plants from different parts of Europe compose this baroque garden of the classical English park.

Thanks to the favorable ecological conditions in the Opeka in a relatively small area plants from many parts of Europe and the world are collected - more than 800 species of trees, shrubs, climbers and flowers in the arboretum area. The park was built in the 19th century and is dominated by the Baroque design realized as an example of the classical English park. It was made according to the plans of a Dutch expert and today stands at the castle Opeka an example of a unique garden architecture, which is impossible to compare with other parks designed beside castles. It has the highest aesthetic value and dendrological diversity that is not found in any other park in Croatia.

In addition to the arboretum, there is a high school "Arboretum Opeka" with a dendrological nursery, greenhouses, animals and many other interesting agricultural contents.
